A beautifully toned stater from Kroton

BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 530-500 BC. Stater (Silver, 28 mm, 8.00 g). ϘΡΟ Tripod with legs ending in lion's feet, and with three handles and snakes rising from the bowl; around, cable border. Rev. Same type as the obverse, but incuse and without the legend; around, rayed border. Attianese 5. Gorini 3. HN Italy 2075. SNG ANS 230. Beautifully toned and well struck. Light scratches and with very minor areas of horn silver, otherwise, good very fine.
